1935 Tootsie Toy, No. 810 Mack Railway Express Truck w/Wrigley's Gum
Outstanding near mint+ example of Tootsie Toy' popular Railway Express Agency truck. Originally issued for two years it includes a multicolored decal with the Railway Express Agency name and a large period advertisement for Wrigley's Spearmint Chewing Gum. The decal was applied to both sides of the rear body. The truck was designed from an actual 1935 Mack Bulldog. It has a standard Mack cab and rear box compartment which is open at the top. It's die cast metal with riveted chassis and rear compartment. It's painted dark green throughout and has all four of its original solid white rubber tires with cast metal hubs. It was issued at 1/43 scale. Size: 4". Sold: Dec. 2005
